These terms apply to all shipping, freight and related services provided by Sovereign Line Logistics ("the Carrier"). By booking a shipment you accept them.
1. Services and quotes
Quotes are estimates based on the information you provide (weight, dimensions, origin, destination and service level) and may change if the actual shipment differs. Transit times are estimates, not guarantees.
2. Accurate information
The sender is responsible for the accuracy of all shipment details, customs declarations and addresses. Delays or costs caused by incorrect information are the sender's responsibility.
3. Prohibited and restricted goods
Illegal goods, and goods prohibited by the laws of the origin, transit or destination country, will not be carried. Dangerous goods must be declared in advance and are accepted only with our written approval.
4. Customs, duties and taxes
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the receiver is responsible for import duties, taxes and customs fees in the destination country.
5. Weight and charges
Charges are based on the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000, per piece).
6. Liability and insurance
Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the maximum permitted by law and applicable transport conventions unless you purchase optional cargo insurance for the declared value. Claims must be notified in writing within 14 days of delivery or expected delivery.
7. Delivery
If delivery cannot be completed, the shipment may be held, re-attempted or returned at the sender's cost.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the contracting entity named on your booking confirmation.
